Yvonne Truby, Patient Coordinator
Yvonne Truby has spent over 30 years helping patients. She began her career in 1970 as a Certified Nursing Assistant for St. Helena Hospital. She then spent 21 years as the Office Manager for Dr. Leland Raymond in Napa, CA.
Yvonne has a deeply rooted passion for patient care and experiences tremendous joy each time she has the opportunity to assist a new patient. Yvonne is thrilled to be working with Dr. Raymond again, and is eager to continue to assisting patients throughout their treatment programs.
Dr. Leland Raymond, MD
Dr. Leland Raymond attended medical school at Loma Linda University of Medicine. He started general surgical training at Los Angeles County University of Southern California. This was interrupted by two years of service in the Army, after which he completed his General Surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Raymond established a surgical practice in Napa in 1971, and became Board Certified in General Surgeon in 1972. He received his Wound Care Certification in 2010. For six years, he has worked in the North Bay Area to care for patients suffering from chronic wounds, providing not just the excellent clinical care needed to heal, but the supportive and caring environment in which to do so.
Dr. Raymond is excited to work with Kathy Whiston-Lemm to provide his current and future patients a new home for chronic wound healing, and to offer this much-needed care to more patients in the area.
Kathy Whiston-Lemm, ACNP, CWON
Kathy Whiston-Lemm graduated California State University, Hayward with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1998. Her nursing career has included bedside patient care in the ICU at UCSF Mt. Zion and 10 years of home health nursing with Sutter VNA & Hospice. Kathy developed a special interest in wound and ostomy care and attended the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing program at Emory University in Atlanta in 2006, obtaining her national certification as a Wound and Ostomy Nurse (CWON).
Kathy began working at Queen of the Valley Medical Center (QVMC) in 2008, developing a successful Wound Care Program providing evidence based advanced wound treatments with a special focus on prevention of pressure ulcers. During her tenure at QVMC Kathy returned to school at the University of California, San Francisco to attend the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) program, earning a Master’s of Science degree in 2012. Kathy is a member of both the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Society and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, while maintaining her ACNP and Wound Ostomy certifications.
Through the creation of the Napa Wound Healing Institute, Kathy aims to achieve her career goal of providing state-of-the-art advanced wound therapies and, as the only certified ostomy nurse in the county, specialized ostomy care to the residents of the Napa Valley.
Stacy Jones, Clinical Operations Manager
Stacy Jones is a graduate of Abilene Christian University as well as the University of San Francisco. Mr. Jones has been a healthcare administrator for over 10 years working with such institutions as the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health and Prima Medical Foundation. Mr. Jones joined the SpectrumCare Group of clinical practices in March of 2015 as the Manager of Clinical Operations. He was instrumental in the opening of the Napa Wound Healing Institute.
Mr. Jones has a passion for serving others and takes great pride in creating an operation where every patient feels valued, respected and appreciated.
Dr. Eric Grigsby enjoys a national reputation for excellence in the field of Pain Management. He has a background as a researcher, teacher and clinician. In 1992, Dr. Grigsby established his private Pain Management practice, the Napa Pain Institute. Today, he and his staff of over 25 professionals consult with patients from throughout Northern California and the western United States and now Kauai and the Hawaiian Islands.
Upon seeing a need for expert Wound Care in the Napa area, Dr. Grigsby founded the Napa Wound Healing Institute on July 1, 2015. Since then the practice has established itself as a leader in Wound Care, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain and non-healing wounds. NWHI treats patients throughout Northern California and the bay area.
Most recently, Dr Grigsby completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He has since applied his business experience and education to The SpectrumCare Group, where he is the Founder and CEO.
